ABOUT ME
Phillip Thompson
My name is Phillip Thompson and I am a senior at Forsyth Central High School interested in becoming an environmental engineer. In the Honors Mentorship Program at my school, I chose to pair up with Kevin Smith at Keep Forsyth Beautiful. We went around our county meeting with countless people who focus on some sort of environmental focus. This includes anything from Storm Water Management to Water Treatment to Code Enforcement, among many others. This specific website focuses on my journey with Forsyth County Parks and Recreation at Sawnee Mountain.
After this year, I plan on going to Kennesaw State University Marietta Campus to study Environmental Engineering so I can earn an excellent job in the industry just like the people who showed me what they do on a day to day basis throughout the course of this school year.
